HEALED AND EQUIPPED TO FULFIL YOUR CALLING IN GOD.

We all have a God given purpose and calling. It is our desire to see each one journey from discovering a relationship with the Lord to being all they are called to be and do all they are called to do.

HEB 12:1, Therefore since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses (who have bourn testimony to the Truth), let us strip off and throw aside every encumbrance (unnecessary weight) and the sin that so readily (deftly and cleverly) clings to and entangles us, and let us run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us.

2, looking away (from all that will distract) to Jesus, who is the Leader and the Source of our faith (giving the first incentive for our belief) and is also its Finisher (bringing it to maturity and perfection)...

Our lives are a combination of events that are intended to lead us to a stronger relationship with God. We have events and distractions coming at us each day to draw us away from God, but we also have surrounding us a GREAT CLOUD OF WITNESSES that have gone before us and are encouraging us, we also have a LEADER & SOURCE OF OUR LIFE who has PERFECTED OUR BELIEF.

2 Peter 1:3 For His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that (are requisite and suited) to life and godliness, through the (full, personal knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue)

We have been given everything we need, by God, to do this life well, to give Glory to Him.

HOLY SPIRIT LIFE.

Before Jesus ascended to heaven he said (John 16:7) Never the less it is EXPEDIENT FOR YOU that I go away: for if I don't go, the comforter will not come unto you: but if I depart, I will send him to you.

(John 14:26) But the Comforter (counsellor, helper, intercessor, advocate, strengther, standby), which is the Holy Ghost, who the Father will send in my name (in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf), He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, what so ever I have said to you.

Jesus came, lived as an example, perfecting our belief, died of the cross so that we can live for Him, and sent the Holy Spirit as our comforter, teacher and reminder, enabling us to do living for Him well.

We have Christs representative, living with us, in our midst, sent FOR US. The Holy Spirit wants to equip us, lead us, teach us, strengthen us and if we open ourselves up to Him and give Him room to do just that, our lives will be transformed.

The presence of the Holy Spirit is something we NEED, something we can experience, not that Christianity is based on experiences but a Holy Spirit encounter will transform our lives.

For too long we have tried to do life as believers to the best of our ability, but its not our ability that is going to get us there. It is the POWER of GOD.

2Ti 3:5 for although they have a form of piety (true religion), they deny and reject and are strangers to the power of it (their conduct belies the genueiness of their profession) avoid (all) such people (turn away from them)

The dunamius, dynamite power of the Holy Spirit is here to equip us, challenge, confront us. We will not go through the motions of true religion, we are and will become more dependant on the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives and meetings.

We will not go through the motions! The Lord has designed us to genuine and real in our Christianity. To do this we need the Holy Spirit to confront us, challenge us and encourage us. TAKE HOLD PRESS ON AND PURSUE

By drawing near to him, seeking his face and determining we will take hold, press on and pursue that which the Lord has for us. This involves us all encouraging one another, and at times pushing each other towards the goal. When we worship, when we pray, when we minister. In everything we do. Our attitude should be God,

• what is your purpose for this?

• How do we achieve that? And after,

• Lord, Did we achieve what you intended.

• When we sit in a meeting, God what are YOU saying? What is being achieved in the Spirit here?

We will endeavour to be a church that is dependant on God,

"Trust in the Lord will all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths"

PRAYER BASED.

We want our paths to be directed by Him, He is the rock on which we stand, not leaning on our own understanding or rationale but looking to him. Praying without ceasing. Before every move of God in the past there was a drawing to prayer. If we want to see our district won and renewal take place we must turn to Him in prayer.

"2 Chr 7:14- If my people who are called by name will turn from shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land."

FAMILY.FELLOWSHIP.

Heb 10: 25 Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another- and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

We believe God has placed us all together for this time and this place to achieve what hes has preordained to take place here. Let us be a people, a family who encourage each other, pray for each, love each other, have community together

There is a part that we have, as believers to love encourage and support each other as we journey, succeed, fail, and pass the 'events' that seek to distract us.
